Jason Ballantine ASE ACE - Film Editor
Jason is currently crafting DC Comic's highly anticipated 2025 summer tenpole Superman, directed by James Gunn.
Previous credits include Andrés Muschietti's The Flash, and box office smash hits IT and IT: Chapter Two, Antoine Fuqua's thriller The Guilty, Matthew Vaughn's action adventure The King's Man, the John Wick world of Len Wiseman's Ballerina, Rupert Sander's The Crow, Bryan Singer's CBS pilot Battle Creek, the high-octane Fury Road (Mad Max 4) by George Miller and Baz Luhrmann's American Classic in 3D The Great Gatsby.
Winner of multilple Australian editing awards for The Great Gatsby and Wish You Were Here. With further nominations for the acclaimed Wolf Creek, Rogue and Caterpillar Wish.
As Assistant Editor and/or Visual Effects Editor, Jason worked alongside many noteworthy Directors and Editors on films such as Babe, Dark City, Moulin Rouge, MI2, Hearts in Atlantis, The Quiet American, Australia and Star Wars Episode 2 and Episode 3 in a career spanning 30 years.
